ORAL PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

Only the presenting author will be notified about the acceptance or rejection of the abstract. If your abstract is accepted for ORAL PRESENTATION, you should be available for the presentation during the allotted session.

  • The exact date and time of Oral Presentation will be notified via email in January 2025.
  • Template for the Presentation will be Uploaded on the Website. Please use the same for submission of the Presentation.
  • The Presentation should be emailed at icncvlemp@gmail.com by 20th January 2025.
  • You will be given 7 minutes to present with 2 minutes for Q&A.
  • Kindly adhere to the presentation time. Suggest restricting the presentation to not more than 10 slides (including title slide).
  • The presentation should be in the TEMPLATE provided for the Presentation only

POSTER/CASE STUDY PREPARATION GUIDELINES

Instructions for Abstract Submission

1. Only the presenting author will be notified about the acceptance or rejection of the abstract. If your abstract is accepted as a poster, you should be available for presentation during the viewing session.

2. The exact date and time of Poster Presentation will be notified via email in January 2025.

3. It is mandatory to indicate your ABSTRACT NUMBER in the upper right corner of the poster.

4. For E-posters: Dimensions 100 cm x 60 cm. Template for the Poster will be Uploaded on the Website. Please use the same for submission of the posters. The Poster should have the following-

Title
Author Name’s with affiliations
Introduction
Methods
Results and Discussion- Graphs, Images and Tables can be used
Conclusion
References-2 nos (relevant to the information on the poster)

Oral Presentation Guidelines

 Preparation:

  1. Time: Stick to the allotted time (usually 7 minutes, plus Q&A).
  2. Structure:

   – Title slide

   – Introduction/Background

   – Methods

   – Results

   – Discussion/Conclusion

   – Acknowledgments

   – References

  1. Slides:

   – Number: Aim for one slide per minute of presentation.

   – Design: Use a clean, consistent layout and high-contrast colors.

   – Text: Limit to key points; avoid overcrowding.

 Content:

  1. Introduction: Clearly state the objective and relevance.
  2. Clarity: Present data clearly, using graphs and visuals where possible.
  3. Summary: Conclude with key findings and implications.

 Delivery:

  1. Practice: Rehearse multiple times; time yourself.
  2. Pacing: Speak clearly and at a moderate pace.
  3. Engagement: Make eye contact and engage with the audience.
  4. Q&A: Prepare for potential questions and practice responses.

 Technical Considerations:

    1. Equipment: Check what equipment will be provided (e.g., projector, microphone).
    2. Backup: Have a backup of your presentation on a USB drive or cloud storage.
    3. Formats: Bring your presentation in multiple formats (e.g., PPT and PDF).

Poster Presentation Guidelines Design and Layout:

  1. Size: Standard poster size is typically ____x____ inches, but confirms the exact dimensions with the conference.
  2. Orientation: Landscape or portrait as per conference specifications.
  3. Sections:

   – Title (with authors and affiliations)

   – Abstract

   – Introduction/Background

   – Discussion/Conclusion

   – Acknowledgments (if any)

  1. Font:

   – Title: 85-100 pt

   – Subheadings: 36-44 pt

   – Body text: 24-36 pt

  1. Images and Graphs: High resolution (300 dpi); ensure they are large enough to be seen from a distance.
  2. Colors: Use a clean, professional color scheme; avoid bright or clashing colors.
  3. Logos: Include institutional logos if required.
